Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are showcasing their friendship on the ‘gram with a cute no-make-up selfie and a kiss, just days after they were spotted out at the VMAs.
The two could be seen enjoying the sea view as they take time out of their busy schedules for a bestie date. Selena Gomez, recently released her long-awaited single, Single Soon, while Taylor Swift has been embarking on her Eras tour.

Taking to her 430 million Instagram followers, the Disney Channel alum posted two photos of her and her bestie Taylor, posing with minimal makeup in front of the ocean.
In the second picture on the post, the Eras singer can be seen giving Gomez, whose reaction towards Chris Brown went viral at the VMAs, a kiss on the cheek, as the two beam and pout for the camera.
In the caption, Selena wrote: “Thas my best frien -she a real bad,” referring to Saweetie’s song, Best Friend.
The friendship of the two iconic music stars goes all the way back to 2008 when they both dated the Jonas Brothers at the same time. At the time, Selena was dating Nick, and Taylor was dating Joe, who recently announced his divorce to Sophie Turner.
Although neither relationship with the Jo Bros lasted, in a 2017 interview with Kiss FM said their friendship was the best thing we got out of those relationships.”
15 years later, their friendship is still as strong as ever. However, the two are still yet to collaborate on a song together, but they have discussed it.
In November 2019, Gomez was asked if she and Swift ever had plans to collaborate musically on the Shelley Rome radio show, to which she responded:
“Yeah! I mean super casual. We’ve never been like no or never talked about it. It’ll happen when it happens, if it does there’s no pressure.”

After fans got content of the two together at the MTV VMAs, they couldn’t believe they were being treated to even more. So of course, they took to the comments to fan girl.
“this pic just screamed the most successful, powerful and iconic woman duo to ever exist,” wrote one excited fan.
