Sunday night a line of severe thunderstorms moved through the Quad Cities Viewing area. Numerous reports of wind damage and a report of hail up to 1.3 inches in diameter in Carroll County. These storms warranted 4 tornado warnings to be issued across the QCA, the first being in Jackson, Dubuque, and Jones Counties. Followed by a smaller warning in Jackson County for the same storm. The other two were issued in Washington and Keokuk Counties and lastly in Des Moines, Lee, Hancock, and Henderson counties.

West Jones community mourns the loss of Mustang senior Cade Thompson On Wednesday, the West Jones community lost senior Cade Thompson in a tragic accident when his pickup collided with a school bus on Highway 84 West near Roy Jefcoat Road. The news of 18-year-old Thompson’s death sent shockwaves through- out Jones County and surrounding areas. He was regarded by many throughout the community as one of the brightest young people it had to offer.

In the name of honesty, I've never been a fan of lip gloss. Most of them are too sticky, have less weartime than a lip balm, and offer little color pigment. Madonna's global concert tour, The Celebration Tour, continues to storm sold-out arenas and stadiums worldwide, and has finally made its way to North America. The tour was originally slated to begin in July with the North American leg, but after the 65-year-old singer was diagnosed with a serious bacterial infection, it was officially postponed. The shows officially kicked off on October 14 in London, jumpstarting the European leg, which came to an end on December 6.
