Oprah Winfrey is showing off her tiny waist as she took to the red carpet in a figure-hugging purple dress, after her inspiring weight loss journey.
The TV personality attended the premiere of her new movie The Colour Purple, with a fitting outfit. The 69-year-old recently opened up about her weight loss journey, revealing she was “treated differently” when she weighed over 200 lbs.

Oprah was seen beaming on the ‘Purple Carpet’ as she posed for photos with her hands on her tiny waist, in a floor length figure hugging purple dress.
The gown had a small split up one side, so she could show off her matching purple heels, with a decorative sparkly bow.
Her hair was styled into voluminous waves. She accessorized with silver dangly earrings and completed the look with some statement rings. A true fashion icon.
Earlier this week, she also stunned in another tight-fitting purple dress, at the Academy Museum Gala.
The remake of the 1985 movie is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day, which Winfrey co-produced with legendary director, Steven Spielberg.
In 1986, the Talk Show host was nominated for an Academy Award for her role as Sofia in the original version.
The star opens up about her ‘weight loss secrets’
As she took to the Red Carpet, Oprah was asked how she got such great results, to which she told Entertainment Tonight: “It’s not one thing, it’s everything.”
She’s not taking any days off, as she told the publication she was “on that treadmill today,” before taking to the stage.
Oprah has previously opened up about her thoughts on the weight loss drug, Ozempic. At a previous panel, titled “The Life You Want Class: The State of Weight,” the star said she’d “wrestled with the idea”.
However, was conflicted about using it due to societal pressures about weight and body image.
“Even when I first started hearing about the weight loss drugs, at the same time I was going through knee surgery, and I felt, I’ve got to do this on my own. Because if I take the drug, that’s the easy way out,” she said.
