Bradley Cooper has revealed he had one rule on the set of his latest film, Maestro, which he directed.

The Hollywood star said he didn’t allow any chairs on set because he claims a person’s “energy dips” when they sit down in a new interview. He further admitted to fellow director Spike Lee he “hated” the allowance of chairs when filming movies, which was the reason he didn’t allow them when filming Maestro.

Bradley Cooper’s on-set rule

In a chat opposite BlacKKKlansman director Spike Lee for Variety, the 48-year-old explained his reasons for not letting his actors sit down – which is a pretty big deal considering shooting films can mean very long days.

“There’s no chairs. I’ve always hated chairs on sets; your energy dips the minute you sit down in a chair,” Bradley explained.

He continued by saying there is no “video village” either, which means there were no monitors on set when he shot the film. The celebrity wouldn’t have been able to see what he was shooting as it was happening. “I don’t watch playback. There’s no video village.”

Bradley helped a famous face after she had a seizure

It comes after Brooke Shields opened up about how Bradley was there for her after she had a seizure while preparing for her one-woman show in New York.

The celebrity explained: “I was preparing for the show, and I was drinking so much water, and I didn’t know I was low in sodium. I was waiting for an Uber. I get down to the bottom of the steps, and I start evidently looking weird, and [the people I was with] were like, ‘Are you okay?’”

Although she told those she was with she “felt great” the actor went “headfirst into the wall” and was “frothing at the mouth, totally blue, trying to swallow my tongue.”

“The next thing I remember, I’m being loaded into an ambulance. I have oxygen on, and Bradley f***ing Cooper is sitting next to me holding my hand.”

Her assistant called Bradley as they struggled to get in touch with Brooke’s husband.
